Really? I have an iwi in my thinkpad and noticed wpa options appeared
along tmie ago. I never encounter any wpa ap's, so I've not tried thes options
personally. However, according to the author they made it into FreeBSD about
18 months ago. See the author's page and search for wpa.

The driver has been very reliable for me over the two years that I've
had it. Packet cpature and all.
