[chuug] Reminder: Meeting tomorrow (Tuesday) 7PM

Hey all,

Just a reminder that the monthly CHUUG meeting will be tomorrow,
Tuesday the 26th, at 7 PM in the NRAO Auditorium.  Anthony Johnston
will present "First Steps in Network Security Monitoring". Ant has
worked in and around Charlottesville as a system administrator,
developer and chef for the past ten years.

Abstract:
For the past year I have been in the process of putting into place
a network monitoring infrastructure for my office LAN. This talk
will be about the ups and downs of getting the information needed
to manage a network day to day while monitoring for threats, from
a system administrators perspective.  I will talk about many open
source tools including nmap, snort, trafshow, sancp, and others,
with a focus on setting up snort sensors as the basis for an
NSM infrastructure.
