[chuug] Part time developer/integrator work available

Hi All,

I have some part time (few hours a week) work available for
sub-contracting.  If things work out the part-time work could extend
into a year or more gig for you.  I would provide tasking /
requirements / due dates / mentoring on the server environments /
application environments as needed.

Pay rate: $20-$60/hour depending on experience.

My client is a very successful domain name reseller (US citizen), the
work ranges from 3rd party domain seller integration (SOAP, REST) to
system automation, web scraping, monitoring, and server optimization.
The servers are all Redhat-linux based, a few have cPanel installed on
them as well.

I need people who are well-versed enough in these technologies to
complete independent assignments / tasks:
* PHP 4/5
* HTML / CSS
* MySQL 4

Desired:
* Ruby (I built one RoR app for this client)
* perl - system automation, web scraping, text filtering

Required skills:
* Integration experience with open-source technologies
* Refactoring / code clean up
* Ability to develop with security in mind at all times is essential.

Desired skills:
* Solid OO skills are desired but not required for all tasks
* Familiarity with open source monitoring tools - Cacti, Nagios
