Dear IAU-FWG member,

Below is a copy of the message I posted yesterday on FITSBITS announcing our 
business meeting at the IAU General Assembly.  In order to better plan for 
the meeting, it would be helpful to know how many of you plan to attend. 
Please let me know if you are.   Regardless of whether you will be 
attending, send me any suggestions you may have for topics to be discussed 
at the meeting.  I'll distribute the tentative agenda here, probably next week.

The IAU FITS Working Group will be meeting at the IAU General Assembly in
Prague on Thursday 17 August from 9:00am - 10:30am in the Prague Congress
Centre.  Anyone with an interest in issues related to the FITS data format
is encouraged to attend.

Part of the meeting will be devoted to business issues (e.g., to reconfirm
the current members and officers), but there should also be time to discuss
technical FITS issues and priorities for the IAU FITS Working Group over the
next 3 years.  If you have suggestions for any specific topics that you
would like to see included in the agenda, please let me know.
