[iaufwg] New draft FITS Standard

Dear IAU FITS Working Group members,

If there are no objections, on Monday I plan to ask the chairmen of the 
4 regional FITS committees to conduct a review and vote on the proposed 
new draft FITS standard document (at 
http://fits.gsfc.nasa.gov/fits_draft.html).  While there are two 
suggested changes that remain  unresolved, dealing with the ISO-8601 
datetime data type (from Rots) and differences with previous versions 
(from Calabretta), I think we should deal with these issues along with 
any other suggestions that may be made by the regional committees after 
they have completed their review of the new draft document.
