[iaufwg] IAUFWG review of the new draft FITS Standard

Dear all,

in addition to my comments in the previous e-mail I would like to
express my support
for Arnold's suggestion, but just in section 4 rather than 5 (I'm
actually not sure whether
Arnold's suggestion was meant to go into section 5?). That means to
add a subsection to
the Value section which would define the structure and format of date-
time values in
keyword records according to a *subset* of ISO-8601. Certainly not
the full standard,
because essentially this standard is allowing just about anything. I
would suggest
to simply follow the W3C note http://www.w3.org/TR/NOTE-datetime

Regards,
Andreas Wicenec
