[wfc] CHECKSUM Proposal

  At this point I would be inclined to vote in 
favor of the checksum proposal if only to reserve
the proposed keywords that are apparently already 
in use. It sounds however, that there is not an 
consensus on how useful Checksums will be, and I 
doubt MAST at least, will spend the time and effort 
needed to add the Checksums to existing files.
(As far as I know, none of the archived MAST files 
use this convention.)
